On Dec.16,2022 the (new) federal government advised that the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT),the federal version of the NSW Civil & Adminstrative Tribunal (NCAT),would be abolished & replaced with a new federal administrative review body.

Reform of the federal administrative review system was deemed necessary due to the stacking of tribunal members who were alleged to be sympathetic to the government or allegedly innappropriately appointed in those positions.

The same scrutiny should be applied to the NSW Civil & Adminstrative Tribunal

Oversight of members by NCAT itself is opaque & unreliable
